+ A B O U T + - - s u m m a r yTaken at face value, the Key of Fates is a mythical object with powers are left deliberately vague, but can be ascertained as a means by which the Gods preserve order within the Mortal Lands. For the purposes of this site, however, the Key of Fates refers to the first canonical campaign (story arc) set within the original RoLaS role-playing forum. In it, a motley band of unlikely heroes comes together after a revelation from the gods and sets out on a quest to discover the truth behind the disappearance of the Key of Fates and its relationship to the sinister God of Chaos, Scryos. Journeying throughout the Realms, as well as battling the forces of darkness, the heroes eventually succeed in rediscovering the lost homeland of the mythical Kinaerians and defeating Ardolas, the Dark General. After confronting their own inner demons upon reaching the den of the treacherous God, the Questers are able to retrieve the Key and banish Scryos, bringing peace to the Realms and earning their place within the legends of the land. |
